We receive many requests for farm visits with guided tours and the chance to meet the animals. We’re happy to offer this, as it’s important that people experience real proximity to production animals and actually see where food comes from.

It’s also a great family activity, and we enjoy showing what we do.
However, it is quite resource-intensive, and we must protect the animals with proper biosecurity. Visitors therefore need disposable clothing/footwear covers, and we must set aside time to host you.
Note: If you have recently been abroad, there is a 48-hour waiting period before you can visit the farms.

Guided tour / barn visit with goats (Vang) or cattle (Bull): NOK 350 per person

Family of 4: NOK 1,200 (add NOK 250 per additional person beyond 4)

Minimum booking: 4 people

This includes disposable clothing for adults and coveralls for children, approximately 1 hour guided tour, and complimentary coffee/soft drinks at the cafe afterwards (as long as the tour takes place during the slaughterhouse’s opening hours).

Tour times are agreed case by case, but must take place between 12:00 and 15:00, weekdays or weekends.
